Georgia, Saudi Arabia eye launching joint economic committee

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. Georgia and Saudi Arabia talked about the possibility of establishing a joint economic committee, Trend reports via the press service of the Georgian Government Administration.

The issue was discussed between the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili and the Minister of Economy and Planning of Saudi Arabia Faisal Al-Ibrahim.

The sides defined the productivity of bilateral relationship between Georgia and Saudi Arabia, and assessed new possibilities of intensification of cooperation.

Garibashvili noted that Georgia is eager to welcome more investors from Saudi Arabia, as well as more tourists. Saudi visitors are able to visit Georgia visa-free, and the number of tourist from this country grows every year, he added.
