One person was killed and three others injured on Sunday when a car bomb exploded in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, security sources said.
The car was parked in a shopping area in Mosul, some 400 kilometres north of Baghdad, DPA reported.
Several stores were also damaged, they said.
A series of deadly attacks have hit across Iraq since US troops completed their withdrawal from the country last December.
