A bus carrying around 30 Russian citizens has arrived at the Lebanese-Syrian border. They're heading for Syria's capital Damascus, to board a plane home. The Russians have been caught up in violence in Lebanon between government supporting militia and the opposition group Hezbollah, RT reported.

Beirut International airport remains closed, and many remain trapped in the city.

Fighting broke out on Wednesday and soon led to Hezbollah taking over the predominantly Muslim part of the Lebanese capital. It followed the government's decision to close down Hezbollah's telephone network claiming it was illegal.

At least 37 people have been killed in four days.

On Saturday, Hezbollah promised to end its armed presence in Beirut after a deal with the Lebanese Army.
