The death toll in the Mexican daycare center blaze has risen to 35, officials said on Saturday, according to Xinhua.
Twenty-nine young children were reported dead on Friday.
The death toll is expected to rise. "We continue to get more bodies out," Jose Larrinaga, a spokesman for the local prosecutor's office, told reporters after the fire died down. He said it was too early to give a final toll.
A fire at a nearby warehouse spread to the center and caused the tragedy, the local media said.
