The foreign ministers of the CIS countries reaffirmed their readiness for dialogue with the EU on integration processes and development cooperation, while respecting each other's interests, according to a statement issued after a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CIS countries, RIA Novosti reported.

The foreign ministers of the CIS countries reaffirmed their readiness for dialogue with the EU on integration processes and development cooperation, while respecting each other's interests, according to a statement issued after a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CIS countries, RIA Novosti reported.

In a statement, named "On complementary and mutually beneficial nature of the development of integration processes" said the head of diplomatic missions enhance the role of regional structures in world politics and economy, strengthening the integration trends in various regions of the world, including the vast Eurasian space.

"The processes of regional cooperation among the CIS states are actively developing, including the formation of a free trade zone of the Commonwealth, the implementation of its member countries in the various sectoral programs, as well as integration formats such as part of the States concerned, as the EurAsEC Customs Union and Common Economic Space (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) "- said in the document.

Ministers noted the deepening of integration within the EU and the simultaneous development of ties between the CIS and the EU. "All of these processes are aimed at achieving the goals of matching, to ensure freedom of movement of goods, labor, services and capital" - the document says.

The foreign ministers convinced that "dialogue and interaction between different structures of integration and cooperation can make an important contribution to the formation of the Atlantic to the Pacific, a common space without dividing lines for the benefit of all its states, which will enhance their competitiveness in today's globalizing world economy" .

The ministers pledged to the Commonwealth for such a dialogue with the EU and other integration structures in various formats to exchange experiences and discuss ways to ensure a harmonious, complementary and mutually beneficial development of the processes of integration and cooperation, while respecting each other's interests.
