An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted Hindu Kush region, Afghanistan at 08:33: 01 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, Xinhua reported.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33.50 km, was initially determined to be at 36.3831 degrees north latitude and 69.1857 degrees east longitude.
