Russian president calls Su-24 incident as "stab in back"

Russian President Vladimir Putin called an attack on the Russian Su-24 war plane in Syria "as a stab in the back", RIA Novosti reported.
The president said that the incident goes beyond the fight against terrorism.
"The Russian pilots and the warplane did not threaten Turkey," President Putin said. "It is obvious."
The president said that the incident with the Russian warplane in Syria will have serious consequences for Moscow-Ankara relations.
The Turkish Air Force shot down the Russian military planes SU-24 in its airspace Nov. 24.
Both pilots managed to eject and the plane crashed on the territory of Syria.
