Turkey has a plan which will be put into action in response to any decision of the French Senate concerning the bill criminalising denial of the so-called "Armenian genocide", TRT Haber quotes Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying.
Turkey hopes the French will not allow its decision to conflict with the country's values, Mr Erdogan said.
He also noted this bill contradicts France's principles on freedom of speech and contributes to the election campaign of President Sarkozy.

Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that the predecessor of the Turkey - Ottoman Empire had committed the 1915 genocide against the Armenians living in Anadolu, and achieved recognition of the "Armenian Genocide" by the parliaments of several countries.
