The calendar adjusted industrial production of Turkey increased by 6.4% in September, 2013 compared to the same month last year, and the seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 5.8% compared to the previous month World Bulletin reported.
Turkish Statistical Institute, TurkStat, announced on Friday the results of the Industrial Production Index for September.
According to the data issued in the Industrial Production Index, the seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 5.8% in September compared to the previous month.
In the sub sectors of the industry (based on 2010=100), mining and quarrying increased by 4.9%, manufacturing by 6.6%, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index by 1.3% in September 2013, compared to the previous month.
The calendar adjusted industrial production of Turkey increased by 6.4% in September 2013 compared to the same month in 2012.
In September 2013, in the sub sectors of the industry (based on 2010=100), mining and quarrying decreased by 4.3%, manufacturing increased by 8% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 1.3% in September 2013, compared to the same month last year.
