In January-April 2019, 21 cruise liners arrived at Turkish ports, which is equal to the data in the same period last year, Trend reports referring to Turkey's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
According to the Ministry, Turkish ports did not receive cruise liners in January 2019, one cruise liner arrived at the ports in February, five liners arrived at the country's ports in March and 15 cruise liners arrived in April.
As noted, 20,617 passengers were transported to and from Turkey by cruise liners in January-April 2019, which is 323 passengers more compared to the same period last year.
In April 2019, 15,987 passengers were transported by cruise liners to and from Turkey.
In 2018, Turkey's ports received 247 cruise liners, which transported 213,700 passengers.
