Iranian and Iraqi citizens purchased 9,151 real estate properties in Turkey from January to September 2019, the Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre told Trend.

From January to September 2019, Iranian citizens purchased 3,623 real estate properties in Turkey, which is 1,427 real estate properties more compared to the same period of last year.

Iranian citizens purchased 305 real estate properties in Turkey in January 2019, 307 real estate properties in February, 334 real estate properties in March, 332 real estate properties in April, 509 real estate properties in May.

Some 415 real estate properties were acquired in June 2019, 464 real estate properties - in July, 469 real estate properties - in August, 489 real estate properties - in September.

Iraqi citizens in Turkey purchased 5,527 real estate properties from January to September 2019, which is 661 real estate properties more compared to the same period of 2018.

Iraqi citizens purchased 605 real estate properties in Turkey in January 2019, 628 real estate properties - in February, 548 real estate properties - in March, 533 real estate properties - in April and 594 real estate properties - in May.

Some 429 real estate properties were acquired in June 2019, 734 real estate properties - in July, 675 real estate properties - in August, 781 real estate properties - in September.

Some 146,900 real estate properties were sold in Turkey in September 2019, which is 15.4 percent more compared to September 2018.

In September 2019, 4,177 real estate properties were sold to foreigners in Turkey, which is 25.6 percent less compared to September 2018.
