From January through October 2019, Turkey exported jewelry worth over $4.5 million to Azerbaijan, which is 1.87 percent more compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.
According to the ministry, in October 2019, Turkey's exports of jewelry to Azerbaijan grew 1.4 times, compared to October 2018, and amounted to $415,590.
The export of Turkey's jewelry and precious stones decreased by 11.4 percent from January through October 2019 compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $3.4 billion.
The export of jewelry and precious stones during the reporting period accounted for 2.3 percent of Turkey's total export, according to the ministry.
The export of Turkish jewelry and precious stones decreased by 43.3 percent in October 2019 compared to October 2018 and reached $267.4 million.
The export of jewelry and precious stones decreased by 10.5 percent and reached $3.9 billion from October 2018 through October 2019 compared to 12 months of 2017-2018.
The export of Turkey's goods grew by 1.6 percent and reached $137.1 billion from January through October 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
The export of Turkey's goods decreased by 0.3 percent and reached $15.2 billion in October 2019 compared to October 2018.
