The value of export of grain and legumes from Turkey to Turkmenistan increased by 25.69 percent from January through October 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, having made up $26.4 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
In October 2020, Turkey exported grain and legumes worth $2.93 million to Turkmenistan, which is by 27.38 percent less compared to October 2019.
Exports of grain and legumes to the world markets from Turkey increased by 4.4 percent from January through October 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, totaling over $5.9 billion.
At the same time, Turkish export of grain and legumes made up 4.4 percent of the country's total export for the reporting period.
In October 2020, Turkey exported grain and legumes worth $671 million to the world markets, which is 3.8 percent less compared to the same month of 2019, the ministry said.
Turkey’s export of grain and legumes in October 2020 made up 3.9 percent of the country's total export.
Over the past 12 months (from October 2019 through October 2020), Turkey exported grain and legumes worth $7.7 billion, the ministry said.
