Revenues of Turkey from exporting grains and legumes to global markets grew by 5.4 percent from January through February 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, totaling over $1.2 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on Mar.8.
In February this year, Turkey exported $640 million worth grains and legumes to international markets, which is 8 percent more compared to the same month of 2019, the ministry noted.
Over the past 12 months (from February 2020 through February 2021), Turkey exported grains and legumes worth $7.3 billion, added the ministry.
