The value of exports of electrical goods from Turkey to Iran grew by 48.1 percent in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, exceeding $28.7 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
In March 2021, the export of electrical goods from Turkey to Iran surged 4 times compared to March 2020 and reached $9.29 million, said the ministry.
According to the ministry, in the first quarter of this year, the mentioned goods' export from Turkey increased by 28.1 percent over the year, surpassing $3.2 billion.
Turkey exported electrical goods to global markets worth over $1.25 billion during March 2021, which is 51.9 percent more compared to March 2020.
Over the past 12 months (from March 2020 to March 2021), Turkey’s exports of electrical goods amounted to $11.7 billion.
