The Turkish port of Ambarli received 2,022 ships from January through July 2021, the country's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
“Of the ships accepted at the port, 681 were flying the flag of Turkey, and 1,341 - the flags of other countries,” the ministry said.
In July 2021, Turkish ports received a total of 4,204 ships. Of these, 1,298 ships were flying the Turkish flag, 2,906 - the flags of other countries.
In total, in the first 7 months of this year, the ports of Turkey received 29,302 ships, including 8,842 ships flying the Turkish flag. The remaining 20,460 ships were flying the flags of other countries flags.
