Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $45.435 billion in January 2022, Turkey's Ministry of Trade told Trend.
"Meanwhile, Turkey's exports in the reporting period have grown by 17.2 percent compared to the same period in 2021, making up $17.587 billion," the ministry said.
According to the agency, during this period, Turkey's imports increased by 54.2 percent compared to 2021, totaling $27.848 billion.
Turkey's foreign trade turnover in 2021 reached $496.715 billion.
Following the results of 2021, Turkey's exports have risen by 32.8 percent, up to $225.291 billion, while its imports have grown by 23.6 percent compared to 2020, settling at $271.424 billion.
In 2020, Turkey's foreign trade turnover made up $388.879 billion.
