Turkey reveals volume of goods its ports transshipped from Albania

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. Ports of Turkey handled 282,028 tons of cargo from Albania from January through March 2022, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

Turkish-flagged ships delivered 6,276 tons of cargo from Albania to ports, while ships flying the flags of other countries – 238,220 tons.

Albanian-flagged vessels delivered 36,532 tons of cargo to Turkish ports during this period. Turkish ports handled 50,553 tons of transit cargo from Albania from January through March 2022.

The ports of Turkey 2022 handled 24.1 million tons of cargo in March.

Cargo transportation by ships under the flag of Turkey through the ports amounted to 2.2 million tons during the specified period.

Cargo transportation through the ports of Turkey by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 31.8 million tons.

Turkish ports handled 6.6 million tons of transit cargo in March 2022, and 98.6 million tons of cargo from January through March 2022.

Cargo transportation by ships under the flag of Turkey amounted to 6.9 million tons during the specified period.

Cargo transportation through the ports of Turkey by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 91.6 million tons.

Turkish ports handled 20.5 million tons of transit cargo from January through March 2022.

The ports of Turkey handled 386.3 million tons of cargo in 2021.

Cargo transportation by ships under the flag of Turkey amounted to 29.9 million tons during the specified period.

Cargo transportation through the ports of Turkey by ships flying the flags of other countries amounted to 356.3 million tons in 2021.

Turkish ports handled 78 million tons of transit cargo last year.
