BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. The Turkish port of Ambarli received 1,159 ships from January through April 2022, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
Some 432 ships accepted by the port were under the flag of Turkey, and 727 - were under the flags of other countries.
The ports of Turkey received 4,473 ships in April 2022.
The total number of ships under the flag of Turkey, accepted by the ports, was 1,359, and 3,114 were under the flags of other countries.
Turkish ports received 16,424 ships from January through April 2022.
During this period, 4,892 out of the total number of ships accepted by Turkish ports were under the flag of Turkey, and 11,532 were under the flags of other countries.
The ports of Turkey received 51,199 ships at the end of 2021, including 15,120 under the Turkish flag.
The remaining 36,079 ships received by Turkish ports were under the flags of other countries.
