BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. A total of 11 companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Türkiye in February 2023 which is 13 fewer than in the same month of 2022, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
It was noted that in the reporting period, despite the reduction in the number of registered Kazakh companies, their total capital increased.
"During the reporting period, the total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 5.7 million Turkish lira ($298,413), while for the same period in 2022, this figure stood at the level of 1.6 million Turkish lira ($83,765)," the statement said.
In February 2023, the majority of Kazakh companies (8) were registered in Istanbul.
"The total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Istanbul equaled 3.7 million Turkish lira ($193,717)," said the statement.
Of the total number of companies with Kazakh capital registered in Türkiye in February 2023, 5 companies operate in the wholesale and retail trade. The remaining companies are involved in other sectors of the economy.
