Elnur Majidli, arrested during the illegal rally of the so-called Public Chamber on April 2 last year, has been released early from serving the remainder of the sentence by the decision of Khazar district court on May 15, 2012, on Tuesday, the penal facility number 17 told Trend.
Majidli was imprisoned last year for 2 years 6 months on charges under Article 233 of the Criminal Code (organization of actions aimed at disturbing public order, as well as active participation in these actions).
