Today, the Turkish air forces have delivered new blows to the terrorist Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in northern Iraq, the Turkish Zaman newspaper reported.
The bombing of Kurdish separatist camps lasted for an hour. The number of dead militants is not reported.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state has been on-going for more than 25 years claiming over 40,000 lives. The PKK group is recognised as a terrorist organisation by the UN and the European Union.
