Georgian Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili on Friday introduced to the Office of the State Minister for Integration into European and Euro-Atlantic Structures a new head, Tornike Gordadze. According to the prime minister's office, Giorgi Baramidze left this post as he takes part in parliamentary elections on October 1.
Baramidze is nominated in Batumi by ruling party of United National Movement.
The prime minister thanked Giorgi Baramidze for the done work. He also wished the new minister success in his activities.
Prior to this appointment, Gordadze has been deputy foreign minister since June 25, 2010.
