Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu compared the European Union (EU) to a "sick man", Haber7 TV channel reported Jan. 21.
"Earlier, Europe compared Turkey to a "sick man"," he said. "At present, we can see that the EU is a "sick man" itself."
"While there is the political chaos in some countries of the Middle East, the situation in Turkey is characterized by its stability," he said. "This testifies to the country's strength."
"The Turkish authorities will do everything for the country to intensify its political and economic power," he said.
Davutoglu said that Turkey will become one of the world's financial centers.
