Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 August / Trend / A new transformer with the capacity of 40 mega-voltamperes, installed in the Ahmadli substation, was connected to the common electric network, Azernergy JSC reported on 4 August. These works are being held within the framework of preparation of the Absheron high voltage electric network to autumn and winter seasons.
Ahmadli substation is connected to the lines for the electric water housing in Baku.
At present, there are two transformers with 63 mega-voltamperes capacity in the substation.
The 110 kilo-voltage substation Gala will also be reconstructed with the framework of preparations to autumn and winter seasons.
