The XXI Economic Forum has today opened in Krynica Zdroj, Poland. The forum is titled "European dilemma: a partnership or rivalry".
An Azerbaijani delegation will also attend the forum organized by the Warsaw Institute of Oriental Studies.
The Deputy Dean of the History Department of Moscow State University, Chief Editor of the Vestnik Kavkaza and Trend Expert Council member, Alexei Vlasov, is included in a Russian delegation.
Vlasov said the theme of the South Caucasus will be repeatedly raised at the Forum.
"The region's role in the European policy has considerably increased and risks inevitably increase. Russia and EU, as regional players should make joint efforts to find an adequate answer to the current challenges," Vlasov said.
