Baku says Azerbaijan's territory will not be used against Iran
Azerbaijan, Baku, March 29 / Trend, M.Aliyev /
Iran is the closest neighbor of Azerbaijan, and Baku continues to insist that its territory will never be used for any action against this country, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov told journalists on Thursday.
He said Azerbaijan and Iran have partner relations.
Certain circles abroad, opposition forces and media outlets owned by them, as well as international organizations and media structures under their control speculate tensions around Iran and try to mess up the relations between the countries, Hasanov noted.
No one can spoil the relations between Azerbaijan and its neighbors, except Armenia, Hasanov underscored.
Today, several Israeli media outlets with reference to Foreign Policy journal reported that Azerbaijan has allegedly provided its aerodrome near the border with Iran to Israel.
