Azerbaijani Ministry of Education launches a project to create educational television (Təhsil TV), head of the MoE Department of Education System Computerization Samir Mammadov said.
Mammadov said the presentation of the project, which is planned as part of the regular state program on computerization of education is expected in the next few months.
"The project envisages the creation of an Internet portal, which will broadcast educational television projects. Primary task is to inform the public about the country's ongoing educational programs, projects, and in general about what is happening in education, both in the form of news, and as a model lessons. The portal will act as a platform, which will bring together all stakeholders of education - teachers, students, parents of students and others," Mammadov said.
Currently the ministry ordered the shooting of lessons and programs, which will be posted on the portal. It is expected to sign a contract with a studio in the long term, which will deal with the shooting on this topic on a regular basis, Mammadov added.
