Azerbaijan is expected to deploy production of decoders with an integrated system of conditional access to paid TV channels, a source in the telecommunications market told Trend.
Such type of decoders has an integrated module that provides a conditional access for viewing the cable operators' TV content.
The interlocutor said the device will have card readers.
Cable operators can use an encryption system, which in combination with protected receivers will ensure the protection of content from illegal viewing.
The decoders' work in the networks of cable operators will depend on their integration with their conditional access system.
