The total number of radio electronic devices registered in Azerbaijan reached 45,049 units, the Azerbaijani State Administration for Radio Frequencies said on April 28.
The number of registered radio electronic devices increased by 11.8 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The administration has registered 806 radio electronic devices since early 2014.
As of April 1, some 398 radio frequency users were registered by the administration. Some 72 frequencies are at the state disposal, 268 - commercial organizations, 28 - foreign organizations and 30 - physical entities, according to the administration's statistics.
The administration's department revealed 53 unregistered radio electronic devices in January-March 2014. During this period the administration inspected 174 companies and organizations. Ten of the unregistered radio electronic devices were sealed and the remaining 43 are being registered.
Six protocols were drawn up for the operators of unregistered radio electronic devices. The legal measures were conducted.
