BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 11. A cluster center will be established within the Absheron Valley program in 2024, said Head of the Innovation Ecosystem Department of IRIA under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Yevgeniya Bikmurzina, Trend reports.
She made the statement at a news conference focused on the agency's actions in 2023 and plans for 2024.
In 2024, the Absheron Valley program will establish a cluster center. Moreover, plans for the year include initiating innovation activities in six new universities, backing eight incubation programs, and establishing two regional innovation centers," she stressed.
The Innovation and Digital Development Agency was founded as a public legal organization under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport by a decree issued by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on October 11, 2021.
