BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 17. Azerbaijan is advancing its digital development by concentrating on three key areas: digital government, digital society, and digital business, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov stated during the presentation of the updated "mygov" e-government platform, Trend reports.
“Azerbaijan is actively pursuing digital development with a focus on digital government, digital society, and digital business. The main goal is to expand the scope of digitalization to enhance the efficiency of all areas of life. The creation of a digital government aims for full digitalization of government services and internal processes, transitioning to a 'paperless' state model where access to services and information is greatly simplified.
One of the significant tools in this effort is the National System Gateway ‘Digital Bridge’, which facilitates efficient data exchange between government information resources and systems. Thanks to this solution, the system's throughput has increased fourfold, and the number of integrated information systems has exceeded 100.
The total number of transactions conducted through Digital Bridge has surpassed one billion, marking a key success indicator,” Mammadov stated.
According to him, another major achievement is the single sign-on system "digital login", which enables citizens to seamlessly access over 145 government portals.
“This system offers five different authentication methods, simplifying the identification process and ensuring its security. It not only saves users' time but also significantly enhances their satisfaction by optimizing access to digital services,” deputy minister added.
