France, Strasbourg / corr A.Maharramli / A meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) to be held in Paris on 12 September will take a report on Azerbaijan. The document was developed by the PACE rapporteurs on Azerbaijan, Andreas Herkel and Tony Lloyd.
During the event it is also planned to discuss the implementation of the PACE resolution on Azerbaijan, which was adopted at the April session of the organization.
The agenda of the meeting includes discussions over lingering conflicts, the fulfillment of CE obligations by Moldova, oral report concerning pre-elections mission in Ukraine, visit of investigation mission in Serbia, as well as discussions on former Yugoslavian Republic - Macedonia.
The next meeting of the Monitoring Committee concerning the lingering conflicts will be held in Berlin on 5-7 November 2007.
