Azerbaijan & Armenia to Restore Talks after Situation in Armenia stabilizes: US Co-chair at OSCE MG (video)

Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 March / corr Trend K.Ramazanova / Talks on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will continue after the of situation in Armenia has stabilized, Matthew Bryza, the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, said in talks with journalists in Baku on 4 March.

"It is too difficult to make any conclusion when there is tension. So, it is necessary to take a break in the talks," Bryza said. According to Bryza Armenia's key task is to continue the development of democracy. Regarding talks between the Presidents and foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Bryza said that the scheduled meetings should be postponed until the situation Armenia has stabilized.

He also announced that he would visit Yerevan on 6 March.
