The meeting between Seyran Oganyan and Safar Abiyev, the Defense Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, was held in Bishkek on 2 July, within the framework of a meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States' (CIS) Defense Ministers Council, Mediamax agency reported.
The meeting focused on minimization of cases of ceasefire violations in the line of frontline, as well as, problems of missed soldiers and prisoners of war.
The sides agreed to return back to discussion of these issues in the future.
Eldar Sabiroglu, press secretary of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, told Trend that meeting of the Defense Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia held in Bishkek was not scheduled and he did not hold information about this meeting.
