An armed incident occurred Nov. 26 in the suburbs of Baku.
Reports indicate that a shootout took place in the Nardaran Township, some 25 km north of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, between a person named Tale Baghirzadeh, some people around him and the police.
The Sabunchu District Police Office told Trend that there are killed and wounded. Reportedly, four people have been killed as a result of the incident.
Meanwhile, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office has told Trend that an investigation is underway in connection with the incident.
In early November this year, members of a radical group, operating under the guise of religion, held a rally in the Bakikhanov settlement of Sabunchu district of Baku.
The members of the radical group, protesting against detention of the deputy chairman of the so-called Movement of Muslim Unity, Elchin Gasimov, gathered in front of the Sabunchu District Police Office in Bakikhanov.
Several individuals, demanding to release Gasimov, were detained by the police and later released.
