2 projects more to be implemented in Azerbaijan in 2006 to improve living conditions of refugees, IDPs

Two more projects on the improvement of the living conditions of internally displaced people will be implemented in Azerbaijan in 2006, the State Committee on refugees and internally displaced persons told Trend.

The project will be implemented by the international humanitarian organizations вЂ" the Norwegian Refugee Council and the Swedish Organization for Cooperation. The projects concern the rehabilitation of houses in Yukhari Kurdakhanli village of Fuzuli District and the construction of a new settlement. The total budget of two projects is $2m. Part of the financing falls on the Azerbaijani government, which has taken a resolution on approval of $189,000 out of the public budget the State Committee said.
