Head of Azeri community of Nagorno-Karabakh met with special envoy of EU

We are awaiting a decisive position fro OSCE, European Union and other international organizations in connection this settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Nazim Bahmanov, the head of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh, told journalists on July 20 as a result of the meeting at the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan with the special envoy of the European Union on South Caucasian countries Peter Semnebi, Trend reports.

He noted that the meeting took a familiarization character, taking into consideration that Semnebi was newly appointed to this position.

Besides, during the meeting, discussions were held on the situation around the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the activity of OSCE Mink Group, the fires committed by Armenians in Azerbaijans occupied territories, the final report of the special representative of the present OSCE chairman on this issue, etc.

According to Bahmanov, the European diplomat expressed concern over the possibility of military solution of the conflict. I told that Azerbaijan has a full right to liberate its occupied territories and this question may not be discussed within international organizations Bahmanov added, stressing these organization have several resolution condemning the aggressive action of Armenia and demanding immediate release of occupied Azerbaijani territories.

Besides, during the second-half of the day, Patskevicha met at the Foreign Ministry with foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov and his deputy Araz Azimov.
