Armenia intends to continue peaceful talks for the smooth settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and to establish peace in the region, the Foreign Minister of Armenia, Vardan Oskanyan, said in his interview with Armenian newspaper 'Hope'.
"The next stage of the talks took place in June in St. Petersburg where the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev and Armenia, Robert Kocharyan came together," the interview read. The Minister said that although no considerable progress was achieved during the meeting, Armenia will continue its positive involvement in this sensitive and important process, by doing everything in its power to regulate the conflict and assisting in establishing long-term peace in the region.
