A person trying to sell 6.4 kilograms of mercury was detained in Azerbaijan, the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Monday.
As a result of operational search operations conducted by officers of the Chief Department for Combating Organized Crime, previously convicted resident of Khachmaz region Akif Aliyev had been detained when trying to sell 6.4 kilograms of mercury for $ 2,000.
An investigation has been started in relation with the case.
