Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov met with fourth-year Process Automation Engineering (PAE) undergraduates going to study abroad during a spring term this year. Khajali Bayramov and Parvina Guliyeva will continue their education at University of West Attica in Greece, while Ismet Aghayev and Elvin GasanIi go to study at Angel Kanchev University of Ruse in Bulgaria. Their trip is arranged within Erasmus+, the European Union student exchange program.

The meeting was attended by the students’ family members, undergraduates and teachers of the PAE department, and the BHOS key administration staff members. Elmar Gasimov extended his congratulations to the departing students and expressed confidence that they would honorably represent Azerbaijan and their Alma Mater abroad. He said that after BHOS joined the Erasmus+ program more than ten brightest undergraduates had an opportunity to study at the University of West Attica for one term. For the first time, our students go not only to Greece, but also to Bulgaria, told the rector. He informed that the University of Ruse provides methodological support to education programs of the PAE department.

Dean of Engineering Faculty Zafar Gurbanov, Acting Head of the PAE Department, Associate Professor Nailya Allakhverdiyeva and BHOS Program Manager Nargiz Tariverdiyeva also spoke at the event. They wished the undergraduates every success in learning their profession. In their words, the participation in the Erasmus+ Student Mobility Program serves as a good example for the students who want to receive best-quality education.
