BM-21 missile revealed in yard of a resident of Aghdam

In December 2005 BM-21 missile was revealed in the yard of K.Gadirov, the resident of the Makhzirly village, Aghdam region. The operative group of the Azerbaijani National Agency on Mine Action (ANAMA) destroyed the missile extracted from 6-meter depth, Trend reports.

Gadirov addressed to the Cabinet of Ministers with request to extract the unexploded arm. The Cabinet of Ministers instructed the Aghdam region Executive Power and ANAMA to study the situation and destroy the missile with 300-meter range.

Prior the operation the police evacuated the population and set posts. The operation lasted 4 days.
