Alizadeh / The draft law stipulating the need for additional authorities in municipalities will be discussed during the Azerbaijani Parliament's autumn session, the Chairman of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Regional Issues, MP Arif Rahimzadeh, reported in Baku on 14 September.
At the meeting of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Regional Issues on 14 September the work schedule of the commission for autumn session was approved. According to Rahimzadeh, the commission will submit the draft laws on the Status of Municipality Members and on Municipality Employees to the parliament for consideration.
Moreover, the commission developed a set of proposals on amendments and supplements to the Exemplary Charter of Municipalities also to be discussed at the autumn session.
"Additionally, the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Regional Issues will put forward for discussion the appeal of the head of Sabirabad Region Executive Power regarding the land-related conflict between Sabirabad and Kurdamir regions," Rahimzadeh said.
The parliament's autumn session will take place from 1 October to 30 December.
