Secretariats to Function in District Election Commissions in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / The Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan (CEC), Mazahir Panahov, briefed the media on 10 October that secretariats comprising six employees have been established in each of 125 district election commissions of the Country. The secretariats will begin functioning on 1 January. The secretariat will include one chief advisor, one great advisor, one leading advisor, two security guards, and one servant.
According to Panahov, ninety-eight district election commissions will function in their buildings. Necessary conditions will be created in the remaining twenty-five buildings of the district election commissions. Training courses will begin for the lesser election commissions on 16 October.
