Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 July / Тrend News corr. E.Aliyev/ No Azerbaijanis have been found amongst the victims of an explosion in Istanbul.
"We do not have precise information whether there are Azerbaijanis amongst those who died from the terrorism act in Istanbul," Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Zakir Hashimov said to Trend on 28 July.
On 27 July, Istanbul experienced two explosions at 9:45pm with an interval of 10 minutes, killing 16 and injuring 140, Turkish media reported.
"The bodies are being identified. The Embassy is controlling the issue and keeps in touch with Istanbul law-enforcement bodies," said Ambassador.
