Georgia to Withdraw All Its Diplomats from Embassy in Moscow

Georgia, Tbilisi, 29 August /corr. Trend N.Kirtskhalia / From tomorrow the Georgian diplomats will be recalled from the Embassy of Georgia in Moscow, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, Grigol Vashadze, briefed the media on 29 August.

According to him, executive power carries out the resolution of the Parliament of Georgia "Occupation of the territory of Georgia by Russia", one of points of which envisages breaking diplomatic relations with Russia.

The Foreign Minister of Georgia said that the Consulate of Georgia will act in Russia. "This resolution does not mean that the contacts between the Foreign Ministers of the two countries will cease finally, such meetings are possible on the territory of the third country," said Vashadze.
There is no information whether Russian Ambassador will leave Georgia.
