Re-demarcation of land frontier between Azerbaijan and Iran has been completed, Azerbaijani Land and Cartography State Committee Chairman Garib Mammadov said at a news conference at the Yeni Azerbaijan Party headquarters on Feb. 6.
"A part of geodesic points were washed away after the Araz River overflowed. We had to re-demark the frontier," said Mammadov.
The length and trajectory of the frontier remained unchanged, he said.
The Azerbaijan-Iran land frontier is 765 kilometers in length.
