Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb.6 / Trend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / Azerbaijan's Military Prosecutor's Office clarified the information on the appeal of Azerbaijani soldier to Armenian government for help. The current information was posted on Armenian web sites.

Soldier Vusal Hasanov, serving in the internal troops, gave an explanation as a result of the investigation upon the information, head of the press service of Prosecutor's Office Afrahim Tahmazov told Trend on Feb.6.

According to the information, posted on Armenian website "versiya.am", soldier Vusal Hasanov appealed to the Armenian government for help, since he was subjected to pressure in the military unit. In his letter, the soldier allegedly wrote that he doesn't want to serve in this condition and wants to shift to the Armenian side after which he could cross to a third country under the assistance of the government.

Hasanov refuted the current information in his testimony to the Prosecutor's Office. The soldier said that he met no pressure during his service by any officers and no one forced him to give units for mobile phone or money.

Hasanov said that he was an exemplary soldier during his service. In July 2008, he was demobilized from the service in the internal troops. After the service, he corresponded with his friends in website odnoklassniki.ru and placed his pictures on it.

Hasanov said that Armenians downloaded his photo from the site and used it for their dirty business.

"I am from Lachin region. It is impossible that a person, land of which is under occupation by Armenians, whose heart is full of hatred to them, could write such kind of letter," Hasanov said.
