Kazakhstan supports the initiatives of Russia and France to devise a new system of the European security, Chairman of the Committee on International Relations, Defence and Security of the Kazakh Parliament's Senate Kuanish Sultanov said, the Senate press service reported.
"We welcome humane, generous intentions of nations' leaders aimed to strengthen security guarantees of the European continent," the senator said.
The Kazakh MPs participated in Special debates dedicated to the initiatives of Russia and France to devise a new system of the European security, held within winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna on Feb. 20.
During debates, Sultanov stressed that many processes depend on actions of politicians, the Parliament and the international organizations despite abruptness of global changes in the modern world.
