Georgia's defence ministry delivers information about Georgian-Russian war to international investigatory commission

The meeting with members of the international investigatory commission was held in the Georgia's ministry of defence. The commission determines reasons of Georgian-Russian war in August 2008. The commission operated under aegis of EU. 

Delegation of the commission was headed by deputy chairman of commission Marian Stashevski. Georgian side included the first deputy minister of defence Vladimir Chachibaia, joint staff head, mayor-general Devi Chankotadze and his deputy brigadier general Mamuka Kurashvili participated in the meeting.

Georgian side delivered exhaustive information to investigatory commission about August events, as well as expressed readiness for close cooperation with it in future, the Georgian ministry of defence said.

Commission completed its work in Tbilisi during two day. Members of commission will arrive in Tskhinvali on June 5.
